Civil Service Commission

The Commission oversees the process of hiring firefighters, approves hiring lists, and ensures that firefighters are treated equitably and fairly in disciplinary actions. The Civil Service Commission meets quarterly.

Starting in 2027, The Civil Service Commission will meet quarterly on the 3rd Tuesday during the months of January, April, July, and October at 9:00 a.m. Meetings will be held at Woodburn Fire District headquarters located at 1776 Newberg Hwy., Woodburn, Oregon 97071.
